ABOUT THE SPACE

Located under the silent watch of the Rockies, the Community Sanctuary is situated on the 2nd floor of a large office building located at 1025 Rosewood Avenue in North Boulder. The building hosts numerous spiritual groups, the milieu is one of growth.

The main room is 36’x 25′, with a separate 12′ x 9 1/2′ entranceway and a small storeroom off to the side. Backjacks, a sound system, cushions and mattresses are available for you to use. Outside the main Community Sanctuary space is a kitchenette area, with two bathrooms on either side and two more downstairs.

There is ample parking out front. The Foothills Trail is just across the street, affording group participants an easy and beautiful way to be in nature during workshop breaks.

North Boulder is the ‘artists area’ of this city: creative, a little funky, with excellent coffeeshops in easy walking distance as well as plenty of wonderful alternative restaurants. The nearest supermarket is a 10 minute walk from us, a 15 minute walk along the Foothills Trail brings you to Wonderland Lake. The foothills rise up three hundred feet to the west of us, and a 15 minute drive brings you high into the mountains.

The Community Sanctuary space is available for both long and short term rentals with a focus on individual and communal growth. Our mission is to create a safe environment that will nurture both the inner and outer life, strengthen community connection, and support our world.

We want people to feel welcome here, create a sense of community, and utilize it to make the world a better place.

As we expand our offerings, the community grows and benefits. Some examples of recent offerings include: Conversations From The Heart, Authentic Relating, Shadow Work, Silence, Meditation, Yoga, Qigong, Tai Chi, Rolfing, Men's Groups, Kirtan, Dance, and Movement.

These are just the tip of the iceberg of what can be created in this space. The Community Sanctuary is a gathering place for people to open their hearts, listen, and let what wishes to come forth and find its expression.

BOOKING INQUIRIES

The Community Sanctuary is available for both large and intimate groups. Many people share that the serenity of the space is palpable. We are grateful to our repeat renters in preserving this welcoming and supportive environment.

RATES
Individuals and Profit Organizations:
$45.00/hour with a maximum per day rate of $350
Non-Profit Organizations:
$40/hour with a maximum per day rate of $325
